Welcome to Beachside Montessori Village Art !!!

I am your child's visual arts teacher for this exciting inaugural school year.  I bring many years of experience to Beachside Montessori Village.  Some of my  previous students have won international, national, state, and local art contests. I have taught art at  several elementary and high schools in Broward County, including the magnet visual and performing Arts program at Bethune Elementary
 
This will be a great opportunity for your child's  artistic development.  We will focus on a creative studio environment based on the Montessori concepts and an atmosphere of creative abilities.  The visual arts climate will utilize mutual respect and co-operation based on clear concise rules and expectations within the art studio. We encourage diversity of expression  critical thinking skills, sharing, and artistic production based on the  State Standards for Visual Arts and twenty first century skills.
